Marketing is Magic!

Hi , Bill again

I want to follow up on my first blog about The Cash Leveraging System that I started about a month ago. I've been doing my diligence trying to get this program off the ground and I gut to be honest with you it's a lot of work, but I know I can make this system work but it's definitely not something you can do overnight. The hardest thing I come to realize is that trying to market your website is a daunting task if you are not familiar with the ins and outs of advertising or marketing as everyone calls it on the Internet. There are a bunch of different ways to advertise the system, some you can do with no cost and some will cost you a fortune. I've tried a little bit of both and I have to tell ya Google will wipe out your bank account if your not careful. It almost seems as if the people at Google purposely make up all of these work at home programs so you'll have to advertise with them. That's the conspiracy theory!!!

So that being said I dabble a little with Google Adword and Microsoft Adsence. They are the only two advertising platforms that I pay for and if you don't spend an average of $200-$500 a month your ad will hardly get clicked on because nobody sees it. In order to get your ad to the first page of Google you'll have to spend well over $10 a click depending on your key words used, the more popular the key word the more expensive it is to use and that doesn't guarantee you a sale either. So the bottom line is if your going to use a paid per click marketing campaign make sure you budget it and target your audience very carefully so when they do click they will buy! In my next post I'll go into specific ways to target your customers with specific keywords that target people who will not only click but will follow up with a purchase.

There are a bunch of free advertising methods you can try and that's actually what I'm doing right now it's called blogging. Blogger.com is a great way to get your product to market without paying a dime! The only down side to blogging is you have to write, and if you don't like to put your thoughts on paper this might not be for you although I have to tell ya I'm not a writer and I don't think I know a lot but once I start typing I can't stop because all these thoughts just jump into my head and I try to get them to the keys and on the computer screen as fast as possible. Anyway, blogging is a great way to express your feelings about a certain product that you would like to share with others because you think it's a great idea! Or just ideas that you think might help others in their quest for something more than just a 9-5 job, or could be nothing to do with any of that and you just want to write to clear your head. What ever it may be keep it entertaining, interesting, and informative. Squidoo is another site where you can actually set up your own web page to get the word out for FREE. Blinkweb, SalesSpider, YouTube, FaceBook, these are all great ways to get your message out to the entire world, how cool is that when you think about it. All you have to do is some homework on how to best use all these platforms. Sometimes to much information can be overwhelming and that's exactly how I fell sometimes when I'm trying to investigate something on the Internet because all of a sudden the thing you where looking at brings you somewhere else and 5 hours later you have all this information but now you have to decipher it all to find what you were looking for in the first place.

All these different media outlets have tutorials and help pages to get you started, my suggestion would be to pick one that you think would work for you and put your full attention towards that program and make it work for you before you move on to the next one because it can get confusing with all these different pages your trying to maintain.

That's all I have for now my kids are calling but I'LL BE BACK!!!!
